Example: Amazon Ads
laid out by product line.

For brand owners, this page explains how we aggregate four Amazon Ads products as examples of connectable ad media. Media not in the connection table, including Rakuten Ichiba search ads (RPP), are discussed in the intro call. For marketplace examples, see “Example: marketplace layout”.

All ads are laid out by product line,
over 13 months.

  • The past 13 months are laid out month by month.
  • Each product line (series) forms one group.
  • Where we read each ad (shelf / guide-to-shelf / prospect formation) is decided with you, the brand owner, in the intro call.
  • We don’t change your ad settings. We read your results and aggregate them.
  • “Purchases” are counted as orders, not units.
  • Figures for the most recent month are shown as preliminary.

Sponsored Products.

We aggregate spend, impressions, clicks, purchases and sales by product line and by month. We count sales within 7 days. This ad type has no new-to-brand metrics, so that field is shown as “Not available”.

Sponsored Brands, including video,
are reviewed down to new-to-brand customers.

We aggregate these ads including video. We count sales within 14 days. We also show sales and purchases from new-to-brand customers.

Sponsored Display is also reviewed
down to new-to-brand customers.

We aggregate these ads. We count sales within 14 days and also show sales and purchases from new-to-brand customers.

Amazon DSP.

We aggregate it by line item. For sales, we mainly look at sales of the promoted products (14 days). Sales of other products of the same brand are shown for reference. We also show new-to-brand customers, detail page views and detail page clicks. How we handle retargeting is decided in the intro call.
